TV Stand Drama

Ok.  I got a TV stand from a recovered hotel furniture shop in the valley.  What I didn't know (but, should have) was that it was plastic.  It wasn't until I had painted it three times, trying to find the right color that I decided to strip it down to the bare "wood".  That's how I found out that it was plastic.  The next step, after my arm stops being so sore from the 4 hours of striping that gosh darn piece of furniture, is to spray paint primer it and paint it a gorgeous red.

Here are some pictures of the stages the piece has been through so far and sooner or later I will show you how it finishes.
How it looked when I bought it.

How it looked after I painted it and glazed it in moss. **BLEGH!**

Tried it in gray with a dark gray glazing but my paint wouldn't stick to the high gloss white.

After striping it, it still needs a lot of work.

UGH, STILL A MESS AND PLASTIC?!
I'm going to try to catch up with you all on Wednesday.  I am so bad with schedules. :/
