Owl Post Gift wrapping

I wanted to wrap my brother in laws gift nicely but didn't want to go too girly so I went with Harry Potter's Owl Post style.  It isn't brown parchment paper it is actually gold wrapping paper.  I thought it snazzies up a the package.  Then I just wrapped twine around it and thread that through a Snitch key chain I made based on the Harry Potter series.
Here you go.
I wrapped a video game for my brother in-law's birthday.  He likes Harry Potter, only likes it but I really wanted to pass this little baby on.
Thanks for visiting and keep on crafting kiddies.

Doctor Who Charms Me Over

Clay Crazy!!!
I know I have already mentioned it but I am on a clay kick.  I apologize to any of my readers looking for another craft or art form to oogle at.  Don't worry, I will have something new to view on Wednesday.  This however is only a post detouring from my Harry Potter Charms.  Once again my husband asked for something Doctor Who theme craft so I made these.  I am not really happy with my Tardis or some of the other details like the eye pits on the Cyberman but I ordered a set of dotting tools to help with the details.

Cyberman, Dalek, Tardis
It wouldn't be complete if I didn't show off a few Harry Potter themed Snitch charms.  They are the size of beads but of course you can use them as charms seeing that they already have eye-pins in them.  If interested email me.
Hope you enjoyed Sunday's Post and keep on crafting kiddies.

Happy Birthday Harry Potter

Hey!
Did you know it's Harry Potter's (the novel's character) birthday?  Well it is!  (July 31st) And, to celebrate I have been working on these bookmarkers to go with my paper bag covered books for the Harry Potter series.  Here are the first three books I've done bookmarks for.  Hope Harry likes this tribute to his birthday.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
1. Nimbus 2000
2. Snitch
3. Harry Potter in School uniform
4. Hedwig with glow in the dark eyes

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
1. Kawaii style Mandrake root
2. Tom Riddle journal
3. Dobby the house elf

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
1. Harry's Patronus
2. Hermione
3. Time Turner
You can't really see these though so I have another picture below.

All of these have been made using colored polymer clay.  Preferably Sculpy III or Premo.  Fimo is good but really hard with no flexibility when cooked, sometimes this can cause breakage.
Below are the Harry Potter series and a connection to the metal bookmarks and clay.
